About Stefan Knauer

Stefan Knauer

"It is the eye that takes the picture, not the camera" Stefan Knauer was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany where his first contact with photography was using a Kodak box camera. At the age of 15 he grabbed his fathers Asahi Pentax and from then on things got serious. Since 30 years now he is covering the international fashion weeks around the world documenting the latest trends in this fast paced business. The real pleasure starts when he can slow down and concentrate on picturing the fascinating splendours of mother nature. Always on the hunt for pictures that will tell a story...
